M a z d a - Vanessa Shababzadeh Currently in development with Mazda: Color in motion explores the connection between nature, craft, and design through movement. Inspired by Kyo-Koma, the traditional Japanese spinning tops crafted by noblewomen, and informed by Mazda’s iconic logo, Color in Motion explores the relationship between movement and color. These simple objects will allow visitors and customers to experience the full dynamic range of Mazda’s modern color palette, while highlighting its human-centric approach and focus on craftsmanship. The smaller line of tops are meant to be sold as gifts, reflecting the colors of the future, including Nightfall Violet. They will be packaged in cork, directly connecting to Mazda’s unique history. / Mazda, ECAL
L o u i s V u i t t o n x E C A L - Vanessa Shababzadeh Inspired by the Louis Vuitton monogram flower, a delicate petaldrifts gently through the air before settling. In this quiet moment, something fleeting becomes precious, preserved and framed like a painting. The settling petal becomes the starting point for the jewelry props: its soft curves translated into the shapes that hold and present the pieces. From the base, slender stems grow upward, gently framing the jewelry like petals opening around it. The jewelry props frame each petal as a precious object, transforming a fleeting element of nature into something collectible and timeless — where the form of the monogram opens, settles, and is preserved through craftsmanship.
S t u d i o M a r k B r a u n - Vanessa Shababzadeh Project during my time at Mark Braun Studio: Working in collaboration with Kvadrat Textile using a cyanotype techniques to create curtain designs for the Domotex exhibition. Cyanotype is an alternative printing method. By exposing the treated textile to sunshine or in general UV light it captures the structure layered on it. The idea behind the design was to combine a very structural element with, window viewpoint. Cyanotype is a technique for alternative photography. It is a photographic print in white on a bright blue background made usually on paper or cloth sensitized with potassium ferricyanid and a ferric salt, developed after exposure by washing in plain water.

A n s c h l u s s S p a c e - Vanessa Shababzadeh Anschluss was a 3 month project, where I explored Berlin to understand the city and design for it. Anschluss is a future work space for new tech workers that integrates the natural collective characteristics of urban Berlin to celebrate its balanced sense of place. The space of Anschluss creates the future of having a sense of place in a tech work environment. Berlin is becoming a place of innovative Tech but it not like San Francisco that wants to give up it soul for another mission. Therefor Berlin is a place of redefining Tech and Innovation.
M o t i v - Vanessa Shababzadeh Motiv, Sculptural Threads explores the intersection of chess and the art of threading, blending the strategic depth of the game with the tactile craft of creating sculptures. The project draws inspiration from the slow, deliberate pace of chess, mirroring the meticulous process of threading and assembling each piece into sculptural forms.
